Does Art Vandelay® Clothing charge for shipping online?

Yes, a ground rate or special upgraded shipping will apply to orders that totals under $100.00 and FREE shipping to those orders that total over $100.00 within the United States. If not running any specific promotion standard shipping charges are based on the weight, size and destination of package and then your cost is automatically calculated by our Shipping Carriers. Most packages are shipped via United Parcel Service (UPS). At our discretion, packages may also be shipped by an alternative carrier due to weight or size. Additional charges will apply on orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands and internationally. Due to current FAA and U.S. postal regulations, we are no longer able to ship orders to APO/FPO addresses.

All orders received with an APO or FPO Address will be cancelled immediately. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.

What are shipping surcharges?

Shipping surcharges are assessed on heavy or oversized items, in addition to normal shipping charges outlined above. Any item that incurs a shipping surcharge will display the surcharge amount below the price on the product page. This will also be called out separately on the credit card page below the shipping charges as "surcharge".

Does Art Vandelay® Clothing ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands?

Yes. Shipping is by air only No Ground Shipping is available. Please allow 7-10 business days for delivery to these locations. Any item surcharges that show on our product pages will be doubled for shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Does Art Vandelay® Clothing ship internationally?

Yes. International orders may be paid by bank wire transfer, credit card/debit or Western Union only. No prepayment with foreign cashiers checks will be accepted. Please phone in or email us the items you wish to order being sure to include your full delivery address, local phone number and preferred method of payment from those listed above so that we may quote you the most accurate shipping costs. We will then reply back with further details on completing your transaction.

UPS is normally our default shipping method for all International shipments. Shipping quotes will be calculated for you after you have submitted your order to us by phone or email. You will be given quotes for both methods and allowed to choose the method that works best for you. Tracking numbers will be emailed to you after your order has shipped.

What if part of my order is not available?

After you have placed your order, if for some reason an item is not available to ship, the item will be cancelled from your order. We will attempt to notify you either via email or traditional mail, that an item has been cancelled from your order. You will not be charged for any item that is not shipped, and any applicable adjustments to your shipping charges will be credited to your account. Such item may be placed as backordered if available.

How do I know if my order has been shipped?

If you have provided us with a valid email address, you will receive an email from us when we have shipped any item on your order.

How will Art Vandelay® Clothing ship my order?

Most orders are shipped via UPS and delivered Monday through Friday. We reserve the right to ship all or part of your order by an alternative shipper due to weight and size.

How long will it take for my order to be shipped?

Under most circumstances customer orders are shipped out within 2 to 5 business days after receipt of payment although at times of high order volume or at certain times of the year when inventory is in shorter supply, such as holidays, some orders may take additional time, however this is generally uncommon. If an ordered item is unavailable, it will be put on backorder status and you will be notified of this with the options of waiting for more stock to arrive, substitute it with a comparable item or cancel the item for a store credit/refund. Delays may also be caused due to credit card verification or if there is a problem in processing your charge card. If we are unable to process your charge card we will attempt to first reach you via email, then either by telephone or traditional mail. We will also try to contact you if there are any other problems with your order. After an order is shipped it usually takes 2-5 business days to arrive for addresses within the United States. For orders delivered to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, please allow 5-10 business days after shipment for delivery. For any international orders, please allow 5-15 business days after shipment depending on customs in your area.

Art Vandelay® Clothing has written this return policy to eliminate any misconceptions regarding customer purchases and their rights after the sale. We ask that if you are not in complete agreement with this policy that you please do not order. Please be aware that closeout apparel in general does have a high rate of turnover and that inventory can change very quickly and often times without much notice. However, we will always try to update our website as quickly as possible when a product option does change but there is always a possibility that the style/color you receive of an item may be slightly different than the one you chose online - such as a different color or wash than what was chosen. With that said, we will always try to communicate to our customers any variations and offer additional options prior to shipping. Merchandise that is found to be damaged upon receipt by the customer will be eligible for an even exchange, a merchandise credit or a complete refund. Customers must notify us within 3 business days of receipt of any damages to qualify.

We unconditionally guarantee all UNUSED or DEFECTIVE merchandise for 3 BUSINESS DAYS from the receipt of shipment. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase you may return or exchange any unused or defective merchandise (with hang tags) for a prompt refund or exchange less the shipping and 20% restocking fee; the only exception is clearance specials or personalized custom made items. Returned items more than 4 days will not be excepted if not notified before shipping.

Reason for the Return

Please write down the invoice number on the outside of the box and mail together with a copy of your invoice.

All items must be in the NEW, UNUSED, COMPLETE and with the condition you received them with all hang tags attached and in the original box.

Your form of payment will be credited for the price of the item and any taxes less all shipping charges. Your credit will appear after Art Vandelay® Clothing has received and processed your returned item through our return procedure within 7 to 14 days. For all other methods of payment you will be refunded by company check within this same time period.
Credit card companies vary on the time it takes for credit to appear on their customers' records. Please allow one to two billing cycles for the refund to appear on your statement.

RETURNS WITHOUT NOTIFICATION WILL BE REFUSED AND SENT BACK AT THE CUSTOMERS EXPENSE.

NO RETURNS ACCEPTED AFTER 10 BUSINESS DAYS FROM DATE OF DELIVERY, NO EXCEPTIONS!

Failure to read and/or understand this return policy does not in anyway absolve an individual from having to abide by it. Please note that the goods advertised on this website are intended for sale as a custom made piece to an individual, so it is not unrealistic to expect, as a individual contemplating ordering merchandise from this website, to have the fundamental knowledge, common sense and the comprehension skills necessary to realize the importance of reading and understanding a companies policy prior to ordering.
